Creating the Anya mini

Summer was rolling around, my for you page and Pinterest was inundated with outfit inspiration, and I was in need of a wardrobe refresh! I was seeing a lot of beading and intricate detail. So I really wanted a fun beaded skirt however the only ones I could find were not in my budget or from fast fashion brands.

October 2024:

Spent my weekend travelling around Sydney finding the perfect fabric. My mum and I searched the internet finding fabric stores in Sydney, and finally found one that supplied beaded silk chiffon.

I was heading to Indonesia on holiday so I brought my fabric with me and got my first sample made here. I drew the measurements and deisgn on the back of a recepit in the tailors store and off I went.
